We are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Practitioner with experience to work across all rooms in the nursery .

Due to an increase of children attending our wonderful Setting, we are currently looking for an experienced, caring and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our fantastic team who suport each other well during work days , nights out and weekends away ! We have three rooms within the nursery all with their own gardens ,the Baby room is attached to the nursery in a purpose built ground level annex .Our Ofsted inspection was Graded a strong Good. Children are the heart of our nursery and so is our teams passion. Level 2 Practitioner will be able to qualify to Level 3 subject to relevant qualifications with our training partner .

You must be qualified to a minimum EYP level 2

in Childcare or equivalent, can you

before applying for the position on the government website(.gov.uk -check early years qualifications) SENCO Qualification and Paediatric first aid an advantage ,but training will be given You must have knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be able to plan activities for all children . we do however have an experience Teacher who works closely with all rooms. You must have knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements You must be able to work as part of a team and be able to use your own initiative . You will be required to be a key person for a small group of children and you will be responsible for ensuring that their profiles are up to date . knowledge of Tapastry an advantage You must be hardworking, professional and be able to build fantastic relationships with the Children that attend our setting and their parents/carers You will be required to work your hours over 3/4 days and you must be available to work Monday-Friday from 07:30-18:00 DBS on the update service an advantage

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality early childhood education and care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Develop and implement engaging learning activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining Paediatric First Aid Certification. Collaborate with team members to foster a positive learning environment and support the nursery's objectives. All job offers are subject to a clear DBS check and 2 satisfactory references.
