We are a small friendly daycare setting based in Ilkeston and we have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years practitioner Level 3 to join our amazing team. Other levels will be considered.

The successful candidate will be supporting children with their daily routines including meals, naps, and playtime. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop essential skills. The candidate will help plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development, whilst following our curriculum. A sound knowledge of the EYFS framework is also essential.

The successful candidate will promote and ensure the protection, and safeguarding of all the children in our care. Safeguarding training is required but not essential as full training will be given.

They will also Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships. Working in partnership with parents is very important to us.

Full and relevant level 3 qualification is needed for this post. Although other levels will be considered. An enhanced DBS will be required and will also be expected to be put onto the update service.

Paediatric first aid course is desirable although not essential as training will be provided with our training provider.

Staff meetings are essential to support our staff, therefore the attendance of staff meetings will be necessary at points throughout the year after working hours.
