Shift pattern between 8:15am and 6:15pm
Includes one shorter day each week (8:15am to 1:30pm)

We're now looking for a passionate and experienced Room Leader to join our team and help guide and inspire both children and colleagues in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities



As Room Leader, you will take a proactive role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of your room, leading by example and supporting a high-quality, nurturing learning environment for all children.

Lead a team of Early Years Practitioners, providing guidance, support and supervision Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families Plan, deliver and oversee engaging, child-led activities in line with the EYFS framework Ensure individual developmental needs are met through effective observations, assessments and learning plans Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times Monitor the room's standards and support colleagues in maintaining excellent hygiene, safety, and housekeeping practices Collaborate with the management team on curriculum planning and continuous improvement Support with training and mentoring of junior staff and apprentices Maintain clear communication with parents, staff, and external professionals

Qualifications & Requirements



Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years / Childcare (recognised for EYFS ratios) Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a nursery or early years setting Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures Confident in leading a team, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills A genuine passion for early childhood education and helping children thrive
