Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and learning of children in our Pre-school setting. You will be responsible for managing a group of children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in various educational activities.

We are looking for someone that can work 3 days a week with flexibility to cover extra shifts.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 2-5 years. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to promote positive relationships. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary. Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods. Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills while guiding support staff in their roles. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or early years education is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Ability to drive as the pre-school is based in a rural area. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development is crucial.
