We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Room Leader to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being.
Foster a warm and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence among children.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop programmes that meet individual needs and organisational objectives.
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Support the organisation of outings or trips, including driving children when necessary in company vehicles.
Lead by example in maintaining high standards of behaviour, organisation, and professionalism within the nursery setting.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery environment.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent are preferred.
Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children during outings or activities.
Organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a caring approach.
A genuine passion for early childhood development and education.

Pay: 29,420.00-32,386.00 per year
