Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role is pivotal in nurturing and developing the foundational skills of children in their early years, ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and growth.

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the developmental needs of children. Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages children's curiosity and exploration. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are met. Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through play-based activities. Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the child's development.

Skills

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings. Strong management and leadership skills to guide a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience with children, demonstrating patience and understanding of their needs. Nursery experience is highly desirable, along with knowledge of early years frameworks. A valid driving licence is beneficial for potential off-site activities or excursions.
