Summary

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Gleniffer Nursery Limited. In this role, you will play an essential part in fostering a positive learning environment for young children, assisting with their daily activities and development. Your contributions will be vital in helping children thrive during their formative years.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery. Support the key worker in monitoring each child's progress and development. Engage children in creative activities that promote learning and social skills. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's experiences and milestones. Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children. Participate in planning and implementing educational activities that align with early childhood education standards.

Requirements

Experience working with young children in a childcare setting is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Leadership skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
