Summary

We are seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our team at Great Western Pre-School in Aberdeen. This role is vital in fostering a nurturing environment for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and outdoor learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Provide support to children in their daily activities and learning experiences. Foster an inclusive and engaging environment that promotes exploration and creativity. Assist in planning and implementing educational programs aligned with early childhood education standards. Collaborate with parents and staff to ensure the well-being of each child. Encourage outdoor play and nature-based learning opportunities. Maintain a safe and clean environment for children. Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents and educators. Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are preferred.
