This long-term temporary role (with potential to become permanent) places you in the Early Years Foundation Stage, delivering individualised support across communication, social development and physical skills.
The Role
Work one-to-one and in small groups with EYFS pupils, implementing personalised learning aligned to EHCP goals.
Use the prime and specific Areas of the EYFS--communication, personal, physical, literacy, maths, expressive arts--to build strong foundations
Support daily routines and structured play to develop emotional resilience, independence and early learning behaviours .
Assist during sensory integration, soft-play, outdoor learning and expressive arts activities to stimulate curiosity and development.
The Ideal Person
You bring relevant qualifications in care, health & social care, social work--or equivalent--and have a background in SEND, care, health or social services. You're calm, patient, creative and thrive in a collaborative team. Your commitment to inclusive provision and desire to support learners with complex needs makes you an advocate for positive change.

Hours
Monday to Friday, 8.30?am-3.30?pm. Full-time or part-time options available.

Safeguarding children is an integral part of what we do and we have a stringent safer recruitment process. We undertake checks on all the candidates we work with. As such we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in Schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position but long term. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available.
