First Steps ED are looking for a passionate and organised
Service Coordinator
who will provide effective coordination for the delivery of First Steps ED's support service pathways. First Steps ED provide person centred support to our service users for a range of eating disorders and disordered eating presentations.
You will have the ability to provide essential administrative assistance across various areas within the organisation, including managing calls and referrals into the service, supporting the Senior Support officers with service delivery, and assisting our All-Ages Service management team.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised service coordinator.
You will:
Understand, triage and process referrals of our service users and able to communicate to services users, parents and professionals.
Engage and support the multidisciplinary teams with administrative coordination of Workshops and Guided Self-Help services.
Support the Workshops and Education Coordinator with content and data reporting.
General office duties including engaging with our clients and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of our charity.
End to end management of external enquiries processed in a timely manner.
Engaging with other professionals and raising awareness of our service.
Analysing data and writing reports for our wider team and All Services Director.
Line manage the Workshop and Education Coordinator.
Full training and support will be provided for this role.
This role will require you to attend the office at least 2 days per week.
This role requires a DBS check to be successfully completed prior to employment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Background in healthcare, support or Mental health care is advantageous
Strong skills in facilitation or coordination of multiple teams
Minimum of 2 years of experience of working in administrative support
Line management or coaching experience
Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes and programme management.
A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational advancements.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative.
Who we are
First Steps ED supports people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds experiencing problems with eating difficulties and eating disorders. The role will require the ability to support us to deliver our face-to-face and online services to provide individuals with the support through our Early Help Eating Disorder programme to facilitate progression and change in their home, education, and community environments. It involves working with a range of professionals to ensure provision of high quality and safe services to individuals of all ages across the country, and in line with NHS Service Specification.
