: Ecommerce and Social Media Assistant

Reports To: Ecommerce Manager

Hours: 6 month contract, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm. Onsite

Salary: 23,015.85 per annum

Job Responsibilities

Ecommerce Content & Product Support:



Collect and organise product data required for online listings on Amazon and eBay.

Assist in enriching product pages with accurate information, bullet points, features, dimensions, and images.

Respond to content requests from platforms (e.g., missing attributes or additional info).

Ensure product listings meet platform-specific guidelines and quality standards.

Social Media & TikTok:



Plan, shoot, and edit TikTok videos and short-form content to showcase products or trends.

Create and schedule engaging posts for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

Stay up to date with social media trends and apply them to relevant product content.

Monitor performance and suggest ideas to improve reach and engagement.

Respond to comments and messages to help build our social following.

Website & Brand Identity Support:



Help shape and execute brand identity for our leading ranges (e.g. Summit, Softlings, Bar-B-King, Snow White)

Assist in developing landing pages for individual brands under the VFM umbrella.

Work with the ecommerce and design team to create clear, appealing, and consistent brand storytelling across digital touchpoints.

Support ideas to improve how consumers interact with our own website and D2C offerings.

Design and coordinate workflows using appropriate workflow management procedure Manage the Creative Team resources in line with Marketing Activity and other business requirements Plan and coordinate projects identifying roadblocks and pinch points and facilitating solutions Cross check and proof factual content within the Creative Team, when required, to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand standards
Skill Set

An interest in ecommerce, digital marketing, and social media.

Confidence using TikTok and Instagram (and appearing in videos when needed).

Strong attention to detail when working with product information.

Good writing and communication skills.

Familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe etc

Organised, proactive, and eager to learn.

Experience working with Amazon or eBay listings.

Understanding of brand marketing or consumer website content.

Awareness of direct-to-consumer strategies.

Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop
Background in a creative field

Knowledge of digital marketing and integrated content strategies

Experience in client-facing roles, stakeholder liaison and managing expectations Familiarity with agile methodologies and process improvement
Job Type: Fixed term contract
