Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented E-commerce Assistant Apprentice to support our online sales operations. The ideal candidate will utilise their foundational IT skills, including productivity tools, imaging software, spreadsheets, and internet safety knowledge to help manage product listings, update digital content, and maintain accurate online inventory. This role is perfect for someone with a Level 2 IT qualification looking to grow their career in e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in creating, uploading, and managing product listings on e-commerce platforms, ensuring accuracy and appealing presentation.

Use imaging software to edit and optimize product images for online display.

Maintain and update inventory data using spreadsheets, tracking stock levels, pricing, and sales.

Support the e-commerce team in analysing sales data and generating performance reports.

Ensure adherence to internet safety protocols, safeguarding customer data and company information.

Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to coordinate promotions, pricing updates, and delivery schedules.

Provide General IT support related to e-commerce platforms and tools.

Help monitor customer feedback and assist in addressing common product queries.

Required Qualifications and Skills:



Level 2 Certificate in IT or equivalent, including:

Proficient in using imaging software (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) to prepare product images.

Strong skills in spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets) for inventory management and reporting.

Understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) is a plus.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Basic knowledge of internet safety and data protection principles.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Desirable Attributes:



Interest or experience in online retail or digital marketing.

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML.

Ability to multitask and prioritiscomme in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 13,741.00-15,000.00 per year
