The Opportunity
Are you passionate about driving online sales through both sharp analysis and creative flair? We are looking for a dedicated E-commerce Assistant who can not only manage the data-driven backbone of our online business but also bring our products to life visually. You will be instrumental in transforming our product listings into compelling shopping experiences across our 10+ e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, eBay, and major UK retailers.
Key Responsibilities
Product Listing Management:
Create, manage, and continuously optimise product listings across all e-commerce channels, ensuring complete accuracy for titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and specifications.
Marketplace SEO:
Research and implement platform-specific keywords and SEO strategies to improve product visibility, search ranking, and organic traffic.
Content & Asset Management:
Conduct
creative in-house product photography
, developing lifestyle and studio shots that capture the comfort and quality of the rucomfy brand.
Apply your
creative editing skills
to all imagery, transforming raw photos (both in-house and from influencers) into polished, eye-catching assets.
Design visually engaging graphics, infographics, and enhanced brand content (including
Amazon A+ Content
) that clearly communicate product features and tell a compelling visual story.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Track and analyse key e-commerce metrics (e.g., sales, conversion rates, traffic, return rates) and generate regular reports with actionable insights to drive growth.
Competitor Analysis:
Regularly analyse competitor products, pricing, and promotional activities on key marketplaces to identify opportunities and maintain our competitive edge.
Promotions & Pricing:
Assist the Management team in implementing and tracking promotional campaigns and pricing strategies across different platforms.
Customer Journey Optimisation:
Routinely audit the customer journey on our platforms, identifying and flagging any technical issues or areas for improvement to enhance the user experience.
Required Skills & Experience
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an e-commerce or marketplace management role.
Direct, hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly
Amazon Seller Central
. Experience with Magento or other marketplaces is preferred but not required..
A strong portfolio or examples of work demonstrating your skills in product photography and creative image editing. Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop is essential.
Proven experience using spreadsheet software (Google Sheets, Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
A meticulous eye for both creative and technical detail, ensuring visual assets are as compelling as the product data, pricing and content is accurate.
Exceptional copywriting and communication skills, with a talent for adopting a brand's tone of voice.
A keen understanding of online visual merchandising and current e-commerce design trends.
Strong understanding of online retail, marketplace algorithms, and e-commerce best practices.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
