Reporting to the eCommerce Manager, we are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven
eCommerce Executive
to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and optimise our online sales channels, ensuring a seamless customer experience while driving growth and revenue. This role requires a blend of digital marketing, merchandising, analytics, and operational skills.
Job Purpose
Support the growth of eCommerce traffic, sales and revenue across our websites including . Responsible for ensuring the websites are up to date and accurate, and properly represent the respective brands. Managing product and marketing updates across the website. Overseeing and supporting the customer service team as they deal with direct customer orders and troubleshoot issues.
Responsibilities
General E-commerce Trading Responsibilities (25%)
Be a key reference point for the business in the absence of the eCommerce Manager.
Work to develop and promote the direct-to-consumer e-commerce website internally as a key strategic growth channel.
Demonstrate and develop a solid understanding of digital marketing channel mix and it's place and contribution in the wider marketing landscape.
Continually look to improve the on-site user experience to drive improved conversion and revenue, through merchandising, marketing, A/B and multi-variant testing.
Work closely with the customer service team to understand our direct consumers' needs, deliver a first-class service and strive to surpass their expectations.
Monitor service reviews and customer feedback in order to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience journey on the brand websites.
Analyse and report across all activity - onsite and offsite - and use this to provide recommendations to drive improvements.
Keep up to speed on competitor activity, market and industry trends and new technology undertaking training as required to update and maintain skills and capabilities, utilising online resources where possible.
With a clear understanding of the digital marketing funnel, assist the eCommerce Manager to effectively grow and market the brand websites.
Work with external suppliers to quickly resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement through ongoing developments.
Web Content Responsibilities (50%)
Work closely with product managers and external marketing teams to build and deploy new pages and content to deliver the product and marketing plans according to the agreed schedules.
Carry out data led and business driven merchandising on the website according to the agreed mix between bestsellers, new product launches, high inventory and high margin products and categories.
Ensure all product data, imagery, pricing and stock levels are accurate and up to date.
Liaise with internal colleagues and external suppliers to obtain product data, news, support information and updating the site as requested.
Carry out development of new website sections, landing pages and campaigns as required, coding content and updating the website ensuring all brand styling is maintained.
Interpret project briefs for Marketing promotions and projects - seeking guidance from the eCommerce Manager where required - to develop the online deliverable and maximise brand awareness.
Constantly seek to identify ways to improve conversion, AOV and overall ROI by ensuring the user experience across the website is best in class, across all devices.
Implement consistently good SEO content to help contribute to the organic search presence of the brand websites.
Manage all web content problems and issues, escalating to the eCommerce Manager.
Being aware of compliance and all UK and EU legislation around privacy (GDPR) and security (PCI DSS) and any updates to the legal policies are carried out promptly and accurately.
Digital Marketing Responsibilities (25%)
Work with our external digital marketing supplier team to develop and effective digital marketing campaigns and ensure these are aligned with the masterplan.
Review and interpret agency reporting on campaigns and implement a process of "test, learn and improve".
Help deliver improved metrics such as reach, impressions, CTR, bounce rate, response rate, CRO and CPA.
Devise creative and cost-effective strategies to drive online traffic to the brand websites whilst being aware of marketing budgets and ensuring strong ROI is delivered.
Develop and manage brand email marketing campaigns and strategies.
Track and report on KPI's across all channels working alongside relevant channel managers and agencies to identify opportunities and optimise performance.

Magento CMS (ideally M2)
Merchandising and product data experience

What's On Offer
This role will be based at our Head Office location, 5 days per week 8am - 4pm.
Holiday entitlement will be 20 days per year + UK bank holidays.
Standard pensions & benefits.
Salary in the range of 27,000 - 32,000, dependent on experience.
