Location:

St Fergus (10 minutes from Peterhead)

Hours:

Part-time, 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 1pm-5pm, occasional Saturdays)

Pay:

7.55-12.50 per hour

About the Role:



We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused assistant to support both our online operations and hands-on fulfilment work. You'll join a small, fast-moving team where one moment you might be packing personalised orders, and the next assisting with social media content, Shopify product listings, or using tools like Canva or ChatGPT to help develop brand materials.

If you're curious about how a growing e-commerce business works, this is a great opportunity to get stuck in and develop practical skills across fulfilment and digital.

Key Responsibilities:



Pack customer orders carefully and accurately Operate engraving machines for jewellery and candle jars Hand-pour candles and assemble gift packages Manage inventory, restock shelves, and organise supplies Monitor and maintain printers, including cleaning and refilling ink Prepare orders for daily postal collection

Additional Digital Tasks (based on interest and ability):



Assist with creating and managing Shopify product listings Support the creation of social media posts across multiple brands Use Canva to help design graphics or marketing visuals Contribute to blog writing, product photography, or email marketing Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for idea generation, drafting content, or keyword research Get involved in launching new products or digital campaigns
No matter how big or small your experience with social media, we'd love to hear about it -- whether you've created posts for a business, helped out a friend's page, or managed your own personal account with care.

Requirements:



Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable and able to manage tasks independently Fluent English for following detailed processes and clear communication Comfortable with basic technology and open to learning new tools Positive team attitude, willing to pitch in and take initiative
