Position Summary:



As the E-Commerce Manager, you will oversee the development and execution of the e-commerce strategy to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives. You will be responsible for leading the e-commerce team, managing online sales channels, and optimising the digital customer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of e-commerce operations, digital marketing, and customer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Leadership:



Develop and implement the overall e-commerce strategy, including content, social media, paid marketing, ensuring it aligns with the company's business goals.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement.

Report on e-commerce performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for growth.

Operations Management:



Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including website management, product listings, pricing, and promotions.

Ensure the seamless integration of online sales channels with inventory management and order fulfilment processes.

Work closely with the IT and development teams to ensure the website is optimised for performance, user experience, and SEO.

Team Collaboration:



Lead, mentor, and develop the e-commerce team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Collaborate with other departments, including Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care, to ensure a unified approach to customer service and sales.

Ensure alignment between the e-commerce strategy and broader business initiatives.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:



Track and analyse e-commerce KPIs, including sales performance, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.

Implement data-driven strategies to enhance the customer journey and maximise online sales.

Skills and Qualifications:



Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in e-commerce management, with a proven track record of driving online sales growth.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, SEO, and data analytics.

PPC & Paid Social:

Develop and manage targeted PPC and paid social media campaigns to drive traffic and boost online sales.

SEO:

Implement and oversee SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and enhance website visibility.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

: Utilise GA4 to track and analyse user behaviour, providing insights to optimise the customer journey and improve conversion rates.

Leadership:

Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

Strategic Thinking:

Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and enhance customer engagement.

Communication:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
