Commerce Product & Shopify Assistant (Colchester Office Based)

CW Commerce runs two established bathroom retail sites -

DesignerBathroomStore.co.uk

and

TradePlumbing.co.uk

. We're a small, family-run team looking for someone highly organised and detail-driven to join us in our Colchester office.

This is an opportunity for the right person to come in, take ownership of our product listings, and really make an impact from day one.

The Role

You'll be our go-to person for making sure products are listed quickly, accurately, and in the right place. Key tasks include:

Tidying and restructuring categories

in Shopify so products are easy to find.

Listing products across Shopify, eBay, and Facebook Marketplace

(Amazon later). Uploading new stock into the system as it arrives in the shop. Writing/editing product descriptions, SEO fields, and tags. Spotting and correcting errors in existing listings. Occasionally answering the phone or helping with online order queries.
This role is about

getting things done efficiently

- we need someone who manages their time well, hits the ground running, and keeps products flowing online at pace.

What We're Looking For

Strong

Shopify

experience (product uploads, categorisation, SEO fields). Highly

detail-oriented and accurate

- nothing slips through. Excellent

time management

(Brian Tracy style - focused, disciplined, efficient).

High C profile (DISC)

: conscientious, structured, methodical. Good written English for clear, professional product listings. Based in/near

Colchester

and able to work in the office every day (10-2).

Nice to Have

eBay or Facebook Marketplace listing experience. Familiarity with bathroom/heating products (training provided). SEO or digital marketing knowledge.
