About Us:



The Place for Homes is an established furniture retailer with a fast growing e-commerce site dedicated to providing furniture and flooring nation wide. We're looking for a skilled and motivated individual to take full ownership of our online store and help us grow our digital presence.

Role Overview:



We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our growing team to manage, maintain, and optimize our e-commerce website. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about improving the online shopping experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our website, ensuring smooth functionality, improving user experience, and supporting our marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage and maintain the e-commerce website (updates, product listings, promotions, and content).

Ensure the website is secure, fast, and fully functional at all times.

Working alongside our digital marketing team to monitor and analyse website performance using analytics tools, suggesting improvements to boost traffic and sales.

Collaborate with the marketing team on SEO, paid ads, email campaigns, and social media integration.

Troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with developers or hosting providers when necessary.

Implement website enhancements to improve user experience, conversion rates, and sales.

Requirements:



Proven experience managing e-commerce websites is a benefit (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar).

Strong knowledge of website analytics, SEO, and digital marketing.

Experience with website content management and product listing optimization.

Strong knowledge and skill sin excel.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities



Manage and optimise product listings across various e-commerce platforms such as WordPress and other online marketplaces. Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and increase visibility. Liaise with our digital marketing team on campaigns including Google Ads, email marketing, and social media management to attract and retain customers. Utilise Canva for creating compelling visual content for product images and promotional materials. Analyse website traffic and sales data using Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Manage project timelines effectively using project management tools, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns and updates. Monitor competitors' activities within the furniture sector to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
