Ect Staff Nurse
Job Description
To provide effective individual nursing care under the supervision of Clinical Lead for an allocated group of patients by: Assist in the management of the ECT Clinic and develop individual treatment plans. Provide and oversee the management and care of service users. Assessing with the patients their physical, psychological and social problems and need for nursing assistance. Preparing and updating the nursing care plans including treatment delegated by medical staff.
Integrating the care and treatments for other disciplines into the care plans. Giving skilled nursing care and treatments. Planning the involvement of the patients relatives, teaching and supervising nursing techniques in preparation for the transfer home.
