The Eden Sessions are a series of summer concerts held at the Eden Project, in partnership with AEG.

In 2026 The Eden Project celebrates its 25th anniversary and we are lining up special shows to coincide with this!

The role holder will be responsible for managing ticketing and liaising with sponsors liaison for the Eden Sessions, the Eden Project's famous annual concert series, performed against the backdrop of the world-famous biomes (see edensessions.com)

Eden Sessions are a key part of Eden's business and the smooth and profitable running of ticketing and sponsorships, maximising revenue for both, is a priority for Eden and its joint venture partner - the global entertainment company AEG.

The role holder will need strong experience in managing and supporting live events. They will need to be numerate with strong communication and project management skills. A proactive self-starter with the ability to multi-task and with a keen eye for detail is required.

The work is confidential in nature so discretion will be critical to the role, as will the ability to deal with stakeholders and guests at a very senior level.

Reports to the Head of Commercial & Events



Role Purpose

Manage ticketing for the Eden Sessions annual series of concerts held at the Eden Project in Cornwall and liaise with sponsors regarding activation delivery and guest list requirements. Reporting to the Head of Commercial and Events Manager to maximise ticket revenue across all Sessions packages. Act as a liaison point for Sessions sponsors, facilitating on-site activations and VIP hosting, alongside the wider Sessions and Events teams.



Key Accountabilities

Plan and co-ordinate the set up and delivery of the Eden Sessions ticket sales and manage associated inventories and allocations to maximise capacity and revenue. Also contribute to reviews around pricing structure. Manage, allocations to various groups (including sponsors), guest lists, comps, booking fees, internal orders and ticket ballots in liaison with the Sessions MD, Head of Commercial Development, artist promoter/booker and other key Sessions team members. Manage the complimentary and paid-for ticket process and associated finances with ICT and the Finance team. Identify VIP package upgrade opportunities and develop and facilitate marketing of these across a suite of comms techniques including on-site. Collaborate with the Events team and under the direction of the Head of Commercial & Events, act as liaison point for sponsors and other ticketholders of the Sessions VIP hospitality packages. Help host and look after sponsors and other VIP guests at the Sessions shows. Liaise with Sponsors and their appointed delivery partners to develop concepts and ensure smooth install and operation of their event activations with the Eden Operations Team and the Production Manager. Collate and prepare review documentation incorporating Sessions statistics and research for sharing with Sponsor partners. Assist the Sessions Booker with liaison with artist agents and management in securing assets, approvals etc. and liaise with the Eden marketing and digital teams on all Sessions comms, from the website to e-comms and social media. Work with sustainability manager, production manager and other key stakeholders to review the regenerative sustainability of the Sessions and identify and develop opportunities to become Carbon positive by 2030

Demands of the Role

Education and Qualifications Bachelor degree level or equivalent

Knowledge and Skills

The jobholder will ideally have at least 2 years' experience of live event ticketing and hospitality in a live events, venue or promoter business; working at a senior level

Experience in managing complex ticket allocations, pricing and revenue management essential

Specific experience in Exec level stakeholder liaison VIP/sponsor liaison is highly desirable

High levels of numeracy required, including proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

You will need to be able to demonstrate strong project management skills

Job holder will work closely with their line manager and peer colleagues, but will need to be able to demonstrate independent thinking and decision making in the delivery of their role. They will only refer matters for manager decisions where these are outside the agreed scope of the role, or where a supported decision is needed.

They will need to be a self-starter, motivated, proactive and skilled at working with teams across various disciplines as well as key external stakeholders.

Needs to be highly organised with keen attention to detail.

Confident in taking decisions and thinking reactively where this is needed in a live situation.



Resourcefulness

Role holder will need to be proactive and to solve problems quickly using their judgment and experience. Needs to be adaptive and creative in this fast-moving area of the business.

The role will require a creative approach and encouraging others to support those decisions when needed. Need for a flexible approach to the role and to have a Plan B where this is appropriate.



People and Asset Management

Shared responsibility for the security and confidentiality of paper-based records and computerised data which will include customer's/clients details and very confidential information within the area that this post covers.

Whilst there is no direct line management in this role, there will be the need to be able to work closely with a wide network of virtual teams to ensure that events are conducted to the highest standards possible.

Budget sign off - 5K.



Communication and Visitor Experience

The job holder will need to have highly developed and polished communication skills across a wide spectrum of interactions. They will interact regularly with sponsors, senior management, key stakeholders and other team within Eden. Senior level written and verbal communication skills essential.

Must be able to adapt style and approach to the requirements of the audience that the role holder is communicating with. This will involve high profile individuals as the job description suggests.



Operational Environment

The role will be office based at The Eden Project in Cornwall. Job holder will be required to work in the evenings during the Sessions shows period. Some home working at other times of year can be discussed.
