We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring high-quality production standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operate various types of machinery and equipment to fabricate and assemble products.
Running a High Production Edgebander machine - BIESSE
Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials as needed.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Use hand tools to complete assembly tasks.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Skills
Experience of running a high production Edgebander machine such as IMA, BIESSE, HOMAG
Experience in materials handling within a warehouse environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Competence in using hand tools and welding equipment effectively.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
Ability to assemble components accurately according to specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
