Introduction




The Programme Support Assistant role sits within the Education and Engagement Team who deliver face-to-face and online educational programmes and learning resources for schools, teachers, home educators and school-age children across the UK.

The Role




The Programme Support Assistant will provide high level administrative support. They will manage bookings and sign-up processes across the Programme, providing excellent customer service to teachers/educators and members of the House of Lords. A key part of this role is facilitating online Q&A sessions between members and school groups.


Responsibilities will include:

Administration Data Collection/Monitoring Facilitation/Event Support Wider team support

Skills and Experience




To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience of tailoring language for different audiences, including school aged young people. Experience in providing excellent customer service to a range of audiences. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines. Experience of working with IT systems such as databases, bookings systems and Microsoft Office software (particularly Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook).
