We are currently recruiting for an experienced and emotionally attuned

Education Assistant

(Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant) to support a bespoke EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) package for a neurodivergent learner based in

Kensington, London

.

This is a

high-intensity, 1:1 support role

for a young person with a profile that includes

ADHD, PDA, and Gestalt Language Processing needs

. As such, we are ideally seeking

multiple LSAs/TAs

to share the hours across the week and provide consistent, low-arousal support.

About the Role

Provide

in-person support

across up to

37 hours per week

, Monday to Friday Work within a

low-demand, interest-led, and emotionally safe environment

Support the learner's communication style, including

Gestalt Language Processing

Assist in transitions, engagement, emotional regulation, and maintaining a consistent daily rhythm Collaborate with tutors, therapists, and the wider team to ensure consistency and wellbeing Accompany the student on outings and to community-based activities as required Support learning through

play-based and therapeutic approaches

What We're Looking For

Experience supporting children with

PDA, ADHD

, and complex communication needs Familiarity with

child-led and low-arousal approaches

Strong ability to remain calm, patient, and responsive in challenging or emotionally charged situations Willingness to work flexibly as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and family Comfortable working in a

home-based and community setting

Essential

2+ years experience as an LSA/TA or in a similar child-facing support role Clear Enhanced DBS (preferably on the Update Service) Self-employed/freelance status with appropriate insurance Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle Availability from

September

Desirable

Training in low-arousal approaches or trauma-informed care Knowledge of Gestalt Language Processing Experience in EOTAS, alternative provision, or home education environments
