The Academic Programmes Office (APO) is a large vibrant and dynamic professional service support team at IOE. The APO provides student and programme support for all accredited academic programmes, (undergraduate, post graduate and teacher training) as well as for all research student activity.
About the role
------------------
In this exciting new role you will:
Oversee the work of administrative staff who are supporting designated UG/PGT/ITE degree programmes, ensuring effective procedures are adopted and documented for dealing with all aspects of the administration.
Lead the team in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students and staff related to the designated degree programmes and beyond.
Coordinate all tasks relating to teaching and learning administration, including supporting relevant committees and processes relating to assessment, student, and programme records.
Work in collaboration with academic and professional colleagues from across the Institute to support a high quality service to students and stakeholders.
Contribute to the strategic direction, management and operation of the Academic Programmes Office, as appropriate.
About you

You will have experience of working in a busy office environment with excellent administration skills and an organised and flexible approach to work, preferably in an education environment.
You will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills, as well as the ability to coordinate priorities, tasks and the workload of a team to ensure all objectives are achieved and deadlines are met. You will demonstrate commitment to high quality service provision and continuous improvement.
