An opportunity for a learning facilitator has arisen to join our TMS+ team in September 2025. This role is a term time only role 40 hours per week and will require the successful applicant to be committed to work Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4.30. Salary to be discussed during the interview stage.
The role has a wide range of responsibilities and therefore would benefit from a dynamic candidate with an excellent work ethic and the drive for delivering an excellent educational provision for our young people commensurate with their individual needs.
To ensure that the learning environment is a positive experience for the young person and the team.
Part of the role will include planning for the next term especially the September start for the new intake of young people for TMS+ where possible.

Responsibilities
Ensuring each TMS+ student is provided with relative, achievable educational work / activities for each session. This may be a bespoke package for each young person or following the national curriculum
Monitoring, marking, and evaluating student work / progress
Communicating with commissioning parties to ensure targets are being met / are achievable
Attend meetings relating to the educational progress of all TMS+ YPs
To Complete Written Termly reports for all TMS+ individual YPs
Working closely with TMS+ co-ordinators & apprentices to ensure company standards and working practices are relayed to and enforced with staff and young people
Undertaking administration necessary for effective job performance and maintain accurate records / reports
Using Information Technology and ensuring that both computer and manual records are maintained in a timely and accurate manner
Taking personal responsibility for maintaining company standards of confidentiality
Essential education and qualifications
A relevant teaching qualification (QTS)
Desirable education and qualifications
Diploma or NVQ Level 3 - CCYP or equivalent. Or working towards a relevant Level 3 qualification. Or holding or working towards a degree recognised as a qualification in the Children or Adults Workforce.
GCSE grade 'C' or equivalent Mathematics and English Language
Social Work qualification
Essential knowledge and experience
Basic knowledge of child development (further training will be given)
An ability to demonstrate basic awareness of current legislation relevant to the position of Education Facilitator
Desirable knowledge and experience
A minimum of 2 years working in child or adult care
Experience and understanding of working with children, young people and their families
Knowledge and experience of children and young people in public care
Working in the community

To participate in planning and managing own work programme and have excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to work under pressure and deal calmly with an emergency
