: Education Sales Advisor - Online Student Recruitment - Mandarin Speaking

Salary

: 23,000 to 26,000, with uncapped commission and bonus

Hours of work

: 35 hours per week

1. Purpose and Scope

TopCourses is a leading international education consultancy, with offices in London, Leicester and Manchester. We are accredited by the British Council, ICEF and UCAS, and we are the official representative for over 100 education institutions. We provide tailored, expert guidance to international students at every stage of their application to schools and universities in the UK.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Education Sales Advisor with an entrepreneurial spirit to be part of our young, vibrant, growing team. Our ideal candidates should have in-depth understanding of Chinese social media platforms and can effectively build rapport with customers. Training will be provided to the successful candidates and you will work in collaboration with an experienced marketing and sales team, creating and innovating new ways of working to ensure excellent performance. 2. Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation



Generate leads through content marketing via RedNote and WeChat platforms. Demonstrate a strong understanding of RedNote and WeChat, staying updated on the latest trends and features; Work with the marketing team to develop and enhance lead generation methods by identifying opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will increase leads and sales. Engage in outreach activities, such as presenting at school/university talks, career events and university fairs (some travel required).

Sales



Identify and interact with prospective leads/customers, who are both students and parents, by introducing the company and the value that we can provide. Present, promote and pitch TopCourses' services as per the company sales process. Establish rapport with new leads via social media, RedNote, WeChat and email to initiate consultations. Conduct consultations and academic assessments in a professional manner. Actively follow up with prospective customers in a tailored and personalised manner, by utilising WeChat, video meetings and screensharing to connect with and support prospective students in their decision-making process to close sales and to achieve expected sales targets. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company's processes, procedures and products to generate the biggest possible returns/sales income for the business.

Service Delivery



Advise students on education options in the UK and guide them through the application process. Collaborate with Application Support Team to ensure fast, efficient and effective follow-up of students' applications to increase conversion rates and achieve expected enrolments targets, whilst providing a high standard of customer service throughout.
3. Qualifications

UK Master's degree, preferably from a top UK university; Familiar with lead generation using RedNote and other Chinese social media platforms; Strong sales ability to close deals is essential; Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese; Ability to learn on one's own initiative and to research the best study options for students; Self-motivated and results-orientated team-player; Attention to details; Experience in the international student recruitment industry is preferable; Knowledge of graphic software, including Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, Illustrator is a plus.
