Are you passionate about teaching children to swim?
We are looking to recruit up to five contracted Swimming Teachers to join the team to support the delivery of Sheffield's Primary School Swimming Programme.
We would like to hear from you if you already have swimming teaching experience and hold the SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification or equivalent, as well as the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. We will accept the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches, however, if successful, we would expect you to work towards the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
The successful candidate(s) will work with the swim team to plan and deliver a series of lessons over a 36-week period to assist the pupils in gaining the National Curriculum requirement for key stage 2 pupils.
The contract is term time (36 weeks) and the number of hour available will vary depending on the successful candidate(s) availability and service requirements.
