Education Welfare Officer (EWO)
FTE Salary Range:
Grade 8 33,326 - 36,141 per annum, inclusive of Crawley Market Supplement.
Actual Salary:
28,198 - 30,580 per annum, inclusive of Crawley Market Supplement. Spinal point to be agreed according to experience

The EWO will:
Devise and implement strategies to achieve and sustain high levels of school attendance
Mentor students to support improved attendance
Track and monitor the attendance of all students alongside the pastoral administrators
Assist the school in meeting the legal requirements regarding school attendance
Liaise with external agencies where appropriate
Support and maintain Hazelwick's high expectations regarding attendance
Experience of working in similar roles or in a school- based role would be beneficial.
Support and training will be provided as necessary.
The post-holder must be a car driver with access to their own car.
