Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educational Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students throughout their educational journey, providing guidance and resources to help them achieve their academic goals. As a Educational Consultant, you will be responsible for educating students about available programmes, resources, and opportunities, ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed.

Duties
Educate students on programme options, course selections, and academic policies.

Provide one-on-one advising sessions to assist students in setting and achieving their academic goals.

Develop and implement workshops or informational sessions on various topics relevant to student success.

Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.

Address student concerns and provide appropriate referrals to additional resources when necessary.

Stay informed about changes in educational regulations, policies, and best practices to effectively advise students.

Experience
Previous experience in an educational setting or student support role is preferred.

Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and engage students effectively.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.

Familiarity with academic advising software or systems is an advantage but not essential.
