Job Purpose:





As an Educational Content Assistant, you will be a key member of the Course Development Team, focused on crafting engaging, high-quality online learning experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include the creation, formatting, and structuring of course materials within our Canvas LMS. You will work in close collaboration with the

wider Product Team to ensure that all course content meets pedagogical, editorial, and accessibility standards.



You will report directly to the Head of Product and Innovation, contributing to the continuous improvement of our digital learning offerings.

Key Responsibilities:




Collaborate with the Course Development Team to develop and refine subject-specific course content. Work alongside the Course Development Team
to ensure all materials meet house style and editorial standards.
Format instructional materials for clarity, consistency, and accessibility. Build and structure courses within the Canvas LMS, ensuring a seamless and intuitive learner experience. Create engaging digital learning resources, including interactive elements, visuals, and assessments. Assist in the development of sample courses and prototypes for new subjects or formats. Conduct quality assurance checks on course builds prior to launch. Support the integration of multimedia and third-party tools into course content. Maintain version control and documentation of course development processes. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving course design and delivery. Stay informed about best practices in instructional design and online pedagogy.
