As we expand our services, we are seeking an experienced
Ofsted Registered Manager
with a strong educational background (Level 5 qualified) to lead our new children's residential provision or supported accommodation service.
About the Role:
This is a critical leadership position responsible for the overall management, compliance, and quality assurance of our Ofsted-regulated setting. You will ensure that the home meets all regulatory requirements, provides outstanding care and education, and creates a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home in line with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations 2015 or Supported Accommodation Guidance
Ensure the service consistently meets or exceeds quality standards set out by Ofsted
Lead, support, and supervise the care and education team, promoting a positive and development-focused culture
Oversee safeguarding, risk assessments, care planning, and staff training
Maintain robust quality assurance systems, conduct audits, and prepare for Ofsted inspections
Work collaboratively with local authorities, social workers, education providers, and other stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement across the service
Essential Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a managerial role within a children's residential or educational setting
Sound knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, regulations, and safeguarding procedures
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Commitment to creating positive outcomes for children and young people
Ability to register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager
