Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Junior E&I Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of advanced systems, ensuring that projects meet both technical specifications and client requirements. This position requires a strong foundation in electrical & instrument engineering and proficiency in various design software tools.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems and equipment in accordance with industry standards and regulations Create technical drawings, schematics, and documentation for electrical systems and equipment Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the most effective design solutions Collaborate with other engineers and team members to ensure that all designs meet project requirements and specifications Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including ATEX and DSEAR Provide technical support to other team members and clients as needed Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed Keep up-to-date with advances in technology, industry regulations, and best practices Adhere to project timelines and budgets Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients May be required to travel to various sites in the UK

Qualifications / Skills

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, ) for creating precise designs Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred) Proven experience working as an E&I Design Engineer Industry Strong knowledge of electrical / instrument systems and equipment, including ATEX and DSEAR, BS600-79, CompEx, and UK 18th Edition Electrical Regulations Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
