Southampton City Council is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to lead and manage our dedicated Electoral Services Team. This post puts you at the heart of local democracy, delivering a vital front-line function that ensures elections are well run and that every eligible resident is given the opportunity to vote.


About you

:





We are seeking a highly organised, flexible individual with experience managing teams and track record of high performance in a demanding role.



You will lead on key elements of service delivery, including the development and implementation of modern ways of working and best practice.



You will need to demonstrate proven analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information (legislation and guidance), excellent communication skills, creativity and innovation to find solutions to problems, experience of effectively engaging with a variety of stakeholders, and the ability to overcome obstacles to ensure deadlines are met.

Salary:

The salary band for this role is 52,413 - 58,865. The

starting salary is 52,413

with annual progression through the salary bands.
