Role Overview
As we expand our operations, we are looking to appoint a highly organised
Electrical Administrator
. You will act as a vital link between our technical team, installers, and customers. The role includes planning installations, managing compliance documentation, providing admin support for electrical and renewable systems, and ensuring customers receive a responsive, professional service throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Compliance
Coordinate and schedule appointments with customers, including post-installation follow-ups
Submit DNO (Distribution Network Operator) applications for grid-tied systems
Submit NICEIC electrical certificates following installations
Ensure all commissioning documentation (e.g. certificates, photos etc) is collected and filed correctly
Work collaboratively across departments to ensure the smooth technical and administrative delivery of projects
Customer Support
Handle enquiries related to proposed electrical and renewable works (e.g. solar PV, battery storage, heating systems)
Respond to queries regarding system faults
Maintain a professional, solution-focused approach in all customer communications
Administrative Support
Maintain and update the internal CRM and project tracking systems with real-time updates and customer interactions
Ensure all project documentation is submitted accurately, in full, and on time
Support operational admin duties, contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Skills & Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in an electricial support, operations, or compliance role (essential)
Familiarity with renewable technologies such as solar PV and battery storage (desirable)
Working knowledge of domestic electrical certification processes (e.g. NICEIC, MCS) (desirable)
Strong IT and CRM system skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Clear communicator with excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Confident working both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams
