We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Contract Manager to manage electrical installation contracts within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a background in management, project management, and construction to contribute to the successful delivery of projects. The Contract Manager will play a role in, managing timelines, and ensuring the organisation's contractual interests are protected.
Duties
Develop, review, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors .
Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts from inception through to completion, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Maintaining positive relationships with the client.
Manage documentation related to contracts using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook for effective communication and record-keeping.
Conduct risk assessments related to contractual agreements and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members involved in contract administration tasks.
Drive continuous improvement in contract management processes through organisational skills and strategic planning.
Qualifications
Proven experience in project managemnet preferential,but also suit a trainee looking for a start in project management, or construction industries.
Flexible working times will be required to suit contracts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and specialised tools like Microsoft Project.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Be able to work withh others to provide a completed contract.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, and internal teams.
Valid driving licence is required for site visits or client meetings outside the office environment.
Strong time management skills ensuring deadlines are consistently met. This role is ideal for a persons eager to contribute their expertise in contract management within our organisation committed to excellence across all projects.
