SINTEC UK LIMITED, a London-based contractor specializing in mechanical and electrical installations, focuses on automation technologies for material handling and storage systems, including conveyors, sortation, palletising, and storage solutions. We're seeking a skilled Site Supervisor for our Latvian Branch to lead projects globally, working with major clients across various regions including the UK, Europe, the USA.

Responsibilities

The Site Supervisor will oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. This is a UK-based role that requires willingness to work on a project basis across various locations in the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervising electrical installations to ensure compliance with local regulations and project documentation Managing and controlling subcontractors and on-site resources to adhere to the project's planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule and budget Conducting regular safety and quality control inspections, and reporting findings Supporting testing and commissioning during project handovers. Serving as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and attending site meetings Manage resources effectively to meet project plans and budgets Overseeing material and equipment procurement Resolving on-site issues efficiently Ensure understanding and preparation of project documentation Maintain adherence to company policies and project management procedures Manage health and safety compliance Track project progress and prepare reports for the project manager

Skills

Previous supervising experience in an electrical environment is essential (min 3 years) At least 2 years of experience in managing electrical installation works, particularly in automation technologies such as conveyor systems and ASRS Proficiency in reading electrical layouts, using MS Office, and CAD software Valid CSCS, ECS, SPA cards Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; additional certifications in electrical safety and health & safety are advantageous Full clean UK driving license Fluent in English, both verbal and written Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage Willingness to work on a project basis in various locations across the UK
