To effectively manage all of the day-to-day aspects of Electrical Installation in accordance with agreed project milestones and ensure all quality management and


safe systems of work are adhered to by the workforce.

What you'll be doing



Ensuring that statutory, company, industry and client regulations/agreements

and procedures are fully complied with.
Completing any other duties as required in relations to skills, activities, status

etc as required by the management team.
Ensuring the efficient operation of all systems in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS), including document control, materials management, risk management, planning, productivity and QA/QC procedures. Lead a relentless focus on Zero Harm & keep up to date with changes in

legislation.
Responsible for the safety and welfare of the general public, employees and

supply chain.
Carry out daily briefings, regular toolbox talks and general health and safety

surveillance activities.
Ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy throughout the working shift and

at the end of each working day.
Carry out periodic Safety & Environmental Tours/promote observation and

safety initiatives.
Support Accident/Incident Investigations when required. Ensure all construction activities are carried out in line with approved RAMS. Attendance at Stakeholder Events where required, promoting best practice

and safe practices.
Ensure permits to work and isolations are in place before any electrical works

commence.
Lead by example through active safety leadership, engagement with the BBK

safety observation process, and promotion of a just culture.
The supervision and motivation of labour in an efficient and safe manner to

ensure maximum productivity is achieved.
Ensure all apprentices are given and able to complete works in line with

their development needs.
Promotion of good industrial relations, dealing efficiently with any problems,

including disciplinary issues, which may arise. Where necessary, seeking guidance from the management team.
Actively promote good behaviour and development opportunities within the

supervision pathway.
Highlight construction risks & opportunities and report direct to management

team.
Ensure installation is conducted within the agreed QA/QC standards and ensure all quality checks are carried out before presenting to the inspection (QA) team. Ensure any ambiguities or issues with meeting agreed QA/QC standards are raised at the earliest opportunity. Programming and progressing the project in accordance with the agreed

contract programme.
Issuing of weekly tick sheets to the management team to confirm progress

within week against agreed programmed activities.
Liaising with the site team and Client's representation, attending progress

meetings as required.
Accurate completion of allocation sheet and daily diaries recording any

issues throughout the day.
Ensure delays are communicated effectively to the management team and captured via the agreed site recording process.



Who we're looking for

The following qualifications or their equivalent are essential




Ability to communicate effectively is required in order to manage customer

relationships.
Effective leadership skills, including experience of leading teams and confidence in the ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets are required. An appropriate and valid CSCS card is required and NVQ level 3 in Supervising Understating of the IR landscape
