Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic, well organised and flexible Warehouse Technician to join our Team in Edinburgh.

VisionEvents?is a full event production agency and audio-visual equipment hire specialist with over 40 years of supplying set, stage, audio, video, lighting, creative design and streaming equipment for live and hybrid events.

As a Warehouse Technician, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse, from preparing and loading equipment on to vehicles to assisting with hire stock maintenance. As well as being warehouse based there will be some driving required for collection/delivery of equipment from sites.

Key Duties include,

Look out and prepare equipment for upcoming events, following job sheets and specs Use warehouse scanning system to allocate and track stock. Load and unload vehicles Deliver and collect equipment from sites Assist with equipment repairs and maintenance
The ideal candidate will have,

A full UK driving licence (essential) Good organisational skills Some technical understanding of audio -visual equipment preferred Previous experience in a warehouse environment Great communication and teamwork skills with a can-do attitude Be able to work in a physically demanding role, with daily handling of heavy flight cases and equipment Comfortable with scanning management systems Flexible and proactive approach to supporting warehouse and driving duties
Hours will be based on a 45-hour week (including paid breaks). Due to the nature of our business and according to the workload additional working hours may be necessary. During busy periods working hours may be varied and can occasionally include unsocial hours and weekends.

Salary - from 29,350pa (doe) plus benefits
