Duties
Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Troubleshoot electrical faults using hand tools and power tools efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical components as required.
Document work performed accurately and report on any safety concerns or system deficiencies.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project teams to complete electrical tasks within specified deadlines.
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and circuitry.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters essential for installation tasks.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and best practices within the industry.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
Relevant qualifications such as a recognised Electrical Installation or Maintenance certification are preferred.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure precise work execution.
