What do we do?

Climate undertakes specialised examinations of buildings to assess each organisation's energy usage, including the performance of HVAC and electrical assets. Using unique energy-saving techniques, Climate can then offer a tailored system of energy efficiency measures and upgrades.

Who are we looking for?

Climate are currently seeking to employ experienced Electricians who will work in an Energy Management System team installing and carrying out maintenance. The successful candidates must be willing to work nationally i.e. Extensive travel and overnight stays, away from home, will be required.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in commercial, retail and education sectors with experience in lighting installations. As a multi-skilled electrician, you will be carrying out all planned installations and reactive maintenance and repair tasks within our EMS portfolio.

Technical Skill Set/ Qualifications required:

Recognised professional qualification e.g. City & Guilds 2396 Electrical Installation Part 1 & 2. 18th Edition IEE wiring regulations. CSCS card (minimal requirement - entry level) Full UK driving licence is essential. Proven building maintenance experience is desirable (but not essential). The ability to work on basic mechanical maintenance HVAC, plumbing and AHU's (training will be given).

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Installation of EMS systems. To undertake planned & reactive maintenance tasks on our Energy Management Systems. Plant covered will include: LV distribution, lighting, general power, HVAC, A/C units, three phase supply's, BMS controls etc. To respond to help desk requests, providing a professional and timely service. To support other EMS teams and ad hoc tasks across all disciplines. To cover general HVAC maintenance. To undertake all company training required to fulfil the requirements of this role.
