Hoople are looking for a skilled and dedicated
Electrician
to lead and oversee high-quality electrical inspection, repair, maintenance, and installation works across a diverse portfolio of properties. This is a hands-on role with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring compliance, safety, and technical excellence in all electrical work carried out by the business.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfil the role of NICEIC Qualified Supervisor, ensuring all electrical work meets current regulations and standards.
Supervise and support electricians, ensuring competency and safety.
Conduct electrical tests and inspections, complete planned preventative maintenance tasks.
Diagnose faults, estimate repair costs, and carry out remedial works.
Maintain accurate documentation and inspection reports.
Provide technical advice on LV and HV systems.
Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota.
Contribute toward the output of the team by carrying out general building maintenance tasks within capability if required.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in electrical inspection, testing, repairs and installations in a variety of domestic and commercial buildings.
Experience as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor within the last 2 years.
Strong understanding of current electrical regulations and safety standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied site conditions.
Full UK driving licence.
