Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in domestic electrical works, have previous experience within the social housing sector. This role involves overseeing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and mentoring junior engineers. The Electrical Supervisor will play a crucial role in the successful execution of electrical projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the company's NICEIC/ Qualified Supervisor Assist the company with social housing contracts and be the main point of call Ensure all electrical works comply with BS 7671 and current regulations Carry out inspections, testing, and signing off work completed by electricians Provide technical guidance and support to site teams Conduct site audits and quality checks to maintain high standards Oversee completion of EICs, EICRs, and other certification Liaise with clients to resolve technical queries and ensure customer satisfaction Assist office staff and engineers with technical help Assist the company with getting jobs completed in tight deadlines

Experience

Proven experience in domestic and commercial electrics with a focus on system design and project management. Must be a fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Hold current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) Inspection & Testing (2391 ) Proven experience as a Qualified Supervisor with NICEIC or NAPIT Strong understanding of health & safety regulations Full UK driving licence Excellent communication and organisational skills Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
