GGR Group Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical / Mechanical engineer to handle the maintenance and testing of Machinery and lifting equipment.
Applicants need to have previous electrical / mechanical engineering experience and must be able to read electrical, hydraulic diagrams & have an understanding of systems and controls.
We need a team player, with enthusiasm and sound technical knowledge.
This role would be very suitable for an individual with an electrical background in automotive, plant machinery, or agricultural equipment.

Key responsibilities:
Undertaking maintenance, service and repair of a range of lifting equipment for both rental and customer machinery.
Electrically biased role with a working understanding of maintenance, diagnosis, fault finding, and repair of electrical systems AC & DC, 12VDC - 440VAC.
Ability to read and understand electric wiring diagrams from multiple different supplier / manufacturers.
Provide knowledge, support and documented feedback including written reports where required.
Phone / Email support working with customers and internal staff
Diagnosis and rectification of plant/equipment defects.
To maintain records for health & safety, customer service records, machine files & certification.
On site repairs and maintenance where required.
To maintain, promote and improve health & safety in the workplace.
Interest in new products and innovative solutions for the future
Creation, maintenance and modification of technical files
All other workshop duties as deemed necessary.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Engineering based qualification (Level 3 advantageous)
Previous experience working in an electrical background in automotive, plant machinery, or agricultural equipment.
Supervisory experience advantageous
Electrical engineering experience
Mechanical engineering skills
Flexibility & willingness to support other departments within the company
Willingness to support and train others
Understanding of health and safety requirements
Computer skills for daily emails, communication & machine diagnostics

Job Terms
Monday - Friday. 8.30am -5.30pm
24 Days Holidays plus Bank Holidays
