Due to the company's continued Global expansion in the delivery of our World leading, pre- clinical multi-modality imaging systems, the following vacancy, based at our facility in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, has been created.

MR Solutions is looking to recruit a motivated Electronics Technician to join the team.

Main Duties:

Manufacture and terminate Dsubs, crimping and soldering Assemble coaxial cables using appropriate techniques and tools Build and route wiring looms neatly and in an organized layout ensuring correct identification and continuity of cables Assemble mechanical components ensuring proper fit and alignment Utilise correct hand and power tools safely and effectively Follow work instructions and diagrams to construct various electronic sub-assemblies Perform continuity and resistance checks using multimeter and cable testers Report, document and rework defects Be able to contribute to identification of improvements in processes and procedures Following Engineering Drawings and detailed work instructions. To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner in compliance with the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Quality Procedures.

Skills/Qualifications

Electronics background Familiarity with the use of Electronics Test Equipment Use of soldering Iron The ability to work mainly unsupervised Commercial Awareness Awareness of working to ISO9001 Quality Standards
