About the Role

We are seeking detail-driven Electronics Verification Test Technicians to support product compliance and testing activities across our electronics development lifecycle. Reporting directly to the Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. This role combines hands-on testing, fault diagnosis, and structured reporting to ensure full verification of our electronic hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

Execute structured test procedures to verify hardware functionality, reliability, and regulatory compliance

Operate and maintain test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, etc.)

Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on electronic circuits down to component level

Support compliance testing in areas such as EMC, electrical safety, and environmental standards

Build, modify, and maintain test fixtures and prototype setups

Document test results, maintain traceability, and assist in generating formal test reports

Work closely with the Compliance Manager to align testing activities with certification and audit requirements

Assist in continuous improvement initiatives across verification and compliance processes

Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and support project delivery

Key Requirements

HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical discipline

Comfortable in a hardware testing or compliance support role

Strong understanding of analog and digital electronic circuits

Competent in using lab equipment and diagnostic tools

Capable of accurate fault diagnosis and systematic problem solving

Organised and methodical, with excellent documentation and communication skills

Eligible to live and work in the UK

Desirable Experience

Exposure to product compliance testing (EMC, LVD, CE/UKCA marking, etc.)

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g. ISO 17025, EN/IEC standards)

Hands-on assembly & panel wiring experience

Background in regulated industries such as fire, defence, or medical
