Electronics Technician - Surface Mount and Loom Experience Essential

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Electronics Technician

with hands-on expertise in operating

surface mount technology (SMT) machines

, such as

Pick and Place machines

, and practical experience working with

electrical looms and harnesses

. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small team environment and wants to continue building their technical skillset through varied, hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Setup, operate, and maintain

surface mount machines (Pick and Place)

to ensure efficient and high-quality assembly of PCBs Build, route, and inspect

electrical looms and harnesses

to precise specifications Perform

hand soldering

and assembly of through-hole and surface mount components Read and interpret

technical drawings and circuit diagrams

(not a necessity)

Follow IPC standards

and internal quality procedures as trained, ensuring your own work consistently meets required specifications

Contribute

to process improvements and production efficiency Work collaboratively within a small, focused production team

Ideal Candidate Will Have

Proven experience with

Surface Mount Machines

Strong hands-on experience with

loom building and wiring

Good understanding of electronics and manufacturing processes High attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience working in a fast-paced,

production-based

environment IPC certification or working knowledge of IPC standards is advantageous A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new techniques

Pay: 12.60-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 41 per week
