We are seeking a dedicated and organised Embroidery / Print Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our embroidery and print equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and supporting various branded workwear projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision in a fast-paced environment. Previous embroidery / printing skills with the addition of DTF Print experience are considered advantageous, contributing to the versatility required for this position.
Duties
Set up, operate, and maintain a range of embroidery / printing machinery to produce high-quality branded workwear
Monitor jobs to ensure colour accuracy, alignment, and overall our high quality standards are met.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimise downtime.
Prepare materials and substrates required for printing processes, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines.
Assist in inventory management of all supplies and materials required for each job and overall.
Support additional tasks such as large-format vinyl weeding and preparation.
Skills
Proven experience in a garment decoration environment is highly desirable, demonstrating embroidery/printing skills and efficiency.
Embroidery skills are considered an asset, providing flexibility for finishing tasks or customised projects.
Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour accuracy and print quality.
Ability to operate various types of printing machinery safely and effectively.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy setting.
Basic troubleshooting skills to resolve common equipment issues promptly.
Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in print production within a supportive environment. Applicants should be organised, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new techniques related to printing and finishing processes.
You will be part of a growing, ambitious team who are involved in the manufacturing and installation of Signage, Vehicle Graphics/Wraps, Exhibition Displays and Promotional Products. We work on many exciting projects across Scotland, working for major and SME brands.
Additional Skills are welcome and will be reviewed with the potential for a Full-Time position as a hybrid roll.
