In Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the Litigation team handles and advises on matters across the region, including contentious regulatory issues and investigations, internal reviews, litigation and arbitration, as well as pre-litigation advice. The EMEA HR Law team's matters include managing employment litigation and providing employment law advice across all lines of business and functions in all locations in EMEA where the firm has a presence. The role will form part of the EMEA Legal Department of the firm.
As an EMEA Litigation - Paralegal - Associate in Legal department you will play a critical role in supporting the HR Law, Litigation and Government Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement (GIRE) teams by assisting in legal operations and providing administrative support. You will work closely with a global and regional team of legal professionals, to help with the department priorities in conjunction with the legal professionals and attorneys.

Job Responsibilities
Prepare documentation such as summaries, reports, and presentations to support the Litigation and HR Law teams, the Legal Department and partners.
Assist Litigation and HR Law team members with business requests and legal/regulatory projects.
Manage electronic matter files, ensuring proper filing and accessibility, and update records.
Assist in document reviews for regulatory requests, discovery, and personal data responses.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, contracts, HR related agreements and correspondence.
Assist in horizon scanning for legal and regulatory requirements, including those related to employment law, and assist in providing updates to stakeholders.
Communicate with partners, stakeholders, witnesses, and other parties to gather information, schedule meetings, and assist in providing updates.
Provide general administrative support to the Litigation and HR Law teams, including scheduling meetings and handling correspondence.
Has a full ownership of executive diary and time management for three Managing Directors, coordinating with global senior stakeholders to optimize scheduling and logistics.
Coordinate global travel logistics, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation. Manage travel budgets, pre-authorizations, and expense processing within corporate policy.
Assist with entering invoices for countries in Ariba where Passport Legal Billing system is not available, with legal settlements entries and follow-up with Legal Billing Unit / Global Share Services and HR function.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Experience (including prior to a career break) in business management, executive assistant, legal analysis/operations or a related field
Expertise in complex global diary management with full competency in Outlook.
Strong judgment and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
A proactive "self-starter" with the ability to work independently, problem-solve and manage competing priorities.
Positive, common-sense attitude with a strong desire to learn and collaborate with Business Assistants and support groups in person and across remote locations.
Flexibility and adaptability to change, with the ability to pivot quickly.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Experience in the financial services industry or a highly regulated environment.
Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures in the EMEA region.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
