An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Employee Relations Manager
to join a leading health and social care organisation on a fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for a confident, proactive HR professional who is passionate about driving positive workplace culture, managing complex employee relations matters, and leading a high-performing ER team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a small team of ER specialists to deliver consistent, high-quality case management.
Implement new policies in line with the Employment Rights Bill and evolving legislation.
Foster a culture of early intervention and positive resolution across the organisation.
Coach and empower managers to handle ER matters confidently and effectively.
Manage complex and high-risk ER cases, including tribunal preparation.
Support organisational change projects such as restructures, redundancies, and TUPE.
Develop and maintain legally compliant and forward-thinking ER policies.
Produce reports and insights on ER trends, case volumes, and progress.
About You
Degree or equivalent qualification (CIPD Level 7 or working towards).
Proven experience in leading an ER team and managing complex casework.
Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
Skilled in policy development, change management, and tribunal preparation.
Pragmatic, solutions-focused, and confident in handling sensitive issues.
Experience line managing and developing team members.
