Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Employee Relations Manager
to lead our ER team and drive positive change in workplace culture. This is an exciting opportunity to manage complex ER cases, implement best-practice policies, and support managers across the organisation in delivering effective employee relations outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a small team of ER specialists to deliver high-quality ER case management
Drive rollout of the Employment Rights Bill, updating policies and procedures accordingly
Promote early intervention and positive resolution to reduce formal processes
Coach and empower managers in handling ER matters confidently
Deliver ER training, guidance, and strategic support across teams
Manage complex and high-risk ER cases, including tribunal preparation
Support organisational change projects, including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE
Develop legally compliant and forward-thinking ER policies
Report on ER case volumes, trends, and status to relevant stakeholders
About You:
Degree or equivalent (CIPD Level 7 or working towards)
Proven experience leading an ER team and managing complex casework
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to risk management and resolution
Experience in policy development, change management, and tribunal preparation
Skilled in line management, performance monitoring, and team development
